About me
Buongiorno and welcome to Sunnylake. Thank you very much for visiting my website.
My name is Carolina, founder and manager of Sunnylake, a small tour operator based in the Canton of Ticino.
I was born in the beautiful town of Locarno, Cantone Ticino, Switzerland.
After gaining my degree in Tourism, I have spent most of my time in the world of tourism.
I started my company after working for many years with leading travel agencies and tour operators, hotels and congress centres, and for tourist boards as a tour guide.
I love my work in tourism and I am happy to pass this passion on to you my customers.
As Product and Tour Manager, I personally organise and accompany all my tours, taking care of the smallest details, to give your holiday my personal touch.
Sunnylake specialises in organising tailor made trips for groups and individual clients, to Italy and other parts of Europe, including Switzerland.
My philosophy is to find hidden places, small villages, different cultures and local products, while at the same time respecting the environment and preserving the values of their heritage and the riches that they have to offer.

While in the “Tours/City Tours” you will find some beautiful guided tours in the Ticino. All trips are offered in either English, German, French or Italian.

Enjoy a nice guided city walking tour which includes many of Locarno’s best sights: Piazza Grande, Castello Visconteo (outside), the picturesque Old Town and some of the city gardens with nice flowers. Piazza Grande is one of the largest and most famous squares in Switzerland.
